Riad Idra - Riad Marrakech Morocco

Riad Idra is located in one of the most characteristic neighborhoods in Marrakech.

It is situated between the Palais du Pacha (from which the neighborhood “Dar el Pacha” takes its name) the Medresa Ben Youssef and the Mouassine neighborhood on the street that once used to be the “rue de Bab Douhkkala”.

10 walking minutes away from the famous Place Jamaa El Fna – is an ancient Marrakech house which, in the second half of the last century, when the lords of Marrakech decided to abandon the Medina to settle either in the Gueliz (New city) or in the Palmeraie, gradually fell in a state of decay.

In the only open space on the derb (the alley that serves the whole block of Tizougarine, to which the derb gives its name), worked until a few years ago a druggist. The vast quantity of spices on offer in Derb Tizougarine was the reason why, more than 10 years ago, the owners of the house fell in love with it, and thy they worked for years to bring it back to its former splendor.

Riad Idra is an homage to Marrakech, to its people, and to the guests who will make Riad Idra their home.
