Oukaimeden is a great day trip escape to the fresh air of the Atlas Mountains. During winter season you can ski, snowboard or walk around the mountains in the fine ski area that can be easily come within reach of by a well preserved and safe cable car up the mountain.

Oukaimeden is just a couple of hours driving away from Marrakesh, and, departing from the city early in the morning, you profit from the landscape and the mountains, lunch in Oukaimeden and come back in the end of the day while there is still light to drive safely back to Marrakesh.
